Our second time here and everything we ordered was very flavorful so far. It's a typical mom and pop kinda place. The waiter is very attentive. I'm not sure why the place is not too crowded for lunch but it could be because it's a Monday. They take Cash, Venmo and Zelle only. We will definitely coming back again to try other dishes. They have family meal dishes here too and that's what we will try next time.

I've been to Little Saigon a hundred times yet never once heard of this place. I'm so glad my dad's friend from Hoi An took us here. Everything was so good. The owner was so friendly! Highly recommended!

I just had dinner with my family here and it was delicious! Next time I'm back in the area, I'll return for the Mi Quang Dac Biet and the jasmine teapot. Ambiance is laid back and the service is very friendly.

Different kind of vietnamnese food. We ordered from appetizers and soup. The appetizers are good but we dont get used to the soups. Only one waiter and speaks english well. The store is just regular, not fancy one.

If you ever visited Hoi An and miss the food, this is the spot! My family and I took a trip to Hoi An years ago and fell in love with the town and food. Majority, if not all, Vietnamese restaurants in SoCal generally specialize in northern, central (hue), or southern cuisine. This restaurant in particular specialize in food from the town of Hoi An which is in central VN. They have cao lau here! Everything we ordered was perfectly seasoned and there were so many unique dishes I never ate before. As a Vietnamese myself, it was a fun experience trying new dishes you don't often see at your typical Viet spot. The price is extremely affordable and service was very attentive. I no longer live in OC but am willing to make the long drive just to eat here. What a hidden gem!

Faifoo is a Vietnamese restaurant specialized in Hoi An cuisine. Hoi An is a city in central Vietnam, and apparently was previously called Faifo/Faifoo by the Western world, hence the name. Service was nice and attentive here. They had a very extensive menu of over 130 items, so there was a lot of variety. I do think that offering such a big menu made it hard to specialize, so some of their food items were hit and miss. If they make the menu smaller and focus on popular dishes and what they are good at, their food would be even better. Their seasoning was also a bit light. Note: They take cash or Zelle only. * #61 Mi Quang Tom Thit (Traditional Quang noodles with shrimp and pork) 4/5 - This was a unique dish from Hoi An. The noodles were soft and tender with a good amount of shrimp and pork. There was a spicy kick to it. The dish need a bit more seasoning. * #31 Banh Bot Loc (Pot stickers stuffed with shrimps) 3.5/5 - I am used to the bigger banh bot loc, so these were the mini versions. They were okay, very chewy, and used the small type of shrimp, so they weren't my favorite. * #88 Bun Rieu Oc (Vermicelli crab soup with snail) 3.5/5 - The noodle soup was okay, not very flavorful. * #123 Com Chien Duong Chau (Yang Chow Fried Rice) 4/5 - The fried rice had sausage, egg, carrot, pea, and green onions. It was pretty good, especially the crispy rice pieces. * Sweet Corn Milk 4/5 - Very interesting drink. It tasted like corn juice with soy milk.

Great place for middle Vietnamese cuisine with an emphasis on food from Hoi An! They've got lots of seating and plenty of parking, making this a good spot for groups. The store itself is pretty casual but they've got some cute, colorful lanterns hanging from the ceiling. What made my experience here so great though was the friendly man, who helped us out and made us feel at home. We tried a wide selection of their dishes: banh bot loc (crystal shrimp dumplings), banh it ram (a chewy mochi-like ball stuffed with meat on top of a puffy fried piece of mochi), fermented pork salad, cao lau (a thick noodle with BBQ pork), and mi quang (a noodle with shrimp, jellyfish, and pork). Everything tasted great! I especially enjoyed the chewiness of the banh bot loc and banh it ram. The fermented pork salad was surprisingly refreshing with its mix of fresh vegetables and sausage, fermented pork, and pig ear. Definitely would order everything again! Just a heads up -- this place only takes Zelle or cash.

Viet food recommended by a friend - hoi an style which is what she was craving. Different take on banh beo that i am not used too. Had interesting sauce usually for me i had Hue style with fish sauce Fresh wide noodles with meats that i honestly thought was ok but must have felt nostalgic for my friend who enjoyed/ craved it Good/ fast service - family workers i suspect because i saw kids sitting around to help out. Ambiance just casual dining They weren't so busy though maybe like 3 other tables when i had early lunch though
